So the long wait is over. Advent Varic have finally released the follow-up to Tumulus Part I: It Begins!
The Ravaging is another aural onslaught, one that moves through the music like a slow motion nightmare that you can’t wake from. As with their earlier release, this is heavy on the doom, but with slightly more of a metal edge, and at the same time less direct in execution to Part I, though no less unique in style.
Vocally, it’s even more torturous and punishing, and backed with a bone-jarring rhythm section set to crush! Piercing guitar lines and thumping drums are what you’ll get if you set foot inside the world of Advent Varic, and a brutal tale of despair is told!
