PRETTY CITY to play SXSW 2016!

After catching Pretty City live recently, we’ve been listening to them a lot and are quite impressed. We’re excited to hear that they’re heading over to SXSW 2016!

Melbourne’s favourite fuzz rockers Pretty City, have been announced to perform at Austin’s SXSW music conference and festival.

The psyche rock trio had a huge 2015 with two east coast tours on the back of releasing their Triple A Side EP including the singles ‘Melt’ and ‘Running Around’ and single ‘Mary Go Round’. This year is set to take off as Pretty City release their highly anticipated debut album in April with an official release of their single ‘Running Around’ in the US to coincide.

Pretty City is poised to take on the world in 2016 by heading over the pond to join fellow Aussies & selected bands from around the globe playing the revered festival and of course to indulge in some damn fine Texan meats.

“I think it’s safe to say that all three of us are extremely excited to be presented with such an amazing opportunity to play and be a part of SXSW. As musicians, it’s something we’ve always wanted to do. The timing couldn’t be better for us, our album is coming out, and we all feel ready to take our sound to the US.”

Pretty City will be raising funds for the journey on Saturday February 27th at The Gasometer Hotel, Melbourne. With special guests to be announced.
